Here is the part 2 that I promised you last week with the vintage dog feeding station.
This week I am showing you how to personalize your feeder box.
Basically how to cute it up!
Sorry, he is a boy dog. How to handsome it up!
My boys hate it when I call boy things cute.
It worked perfectly fine the way it was last week but really it was quite “plain jane”.
We can’t leave it that way.
Nope, not us!
We are going to make it look COOL!
How was that boys? Better?
We have to make it nice for our new buddy Radar!
Look at that face, isn’t he the cutest?!
Step One :
Print his/her name on cool stencil maker machine like a Silhoutte or a Cricut or you can buy stencil letters already made.
Step Two :
Paint name/phrase onto box-allow to dry for 2 hours or so depending on climate.
Step Three :
Lightly sand for a distressed/vintage look.

Radar loves chasing balls in the field and the house. This boy loves to run.
He always comes back though.
He loves his family more than he loves to run!
He is always on the alert for funny sounds.
Right now almost everything is a funny sound until he gets use to his new surroundings.
Can we talk about those handles?
Wowza, aren’t they cute? Target, you are awesome!
They work perfect for this project.
I needed something that didn’t stick out because of the location that the box sits in so these work out wonderfully.
We will NOT talk about how much they cost.
Radar deserves the best, that is what I say.
Besides, they finish off my project….and the Silverfox is away on a business trip so I could not consult him, so sad.
Yes, that is brass and leather on those handles.
Oh, so handsome!
Look, they match perfectly with the brass hinges that I used.
Wow, what a coincidence!
And they also match the brass rimmed bowls.
What, are you saying…..are you saying I am a little out of control there?
Ummmmm, who, me??
I just like to coordinate things.
That’s it. Just a little bit.
Ella photo bombing again.
She really likes his new Blue Buffalo dog food.
He is really just the sweetest! He is super smart too.
Thanks to Bill and Mindy for trusting us to take care of him. We will do our best!
We know he is such a great dog because he came from such a great home!
Let us know if you make one for your pets. I would love to see your creations!
Let us know in the comments below what you think.
Send us some photos of your projects. We would love to hear from you!
By the way you can get hinges and dog bowls from the dollar store.
Who knew the dollar store carried that stuff.
You could possibly offset the ridiculous amount of money that you may or may not have spent on handles….just saying.
